Leeds Masonic Lodge has their monthly fellowship breakfast this Saturday morning at the Lodge starting at 8:00 a.m.. Enjoy everything from eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy to lots more all cooked by local Lodge members. Donations are accepted but not required and all donations go to community outreach programs. The Lodge is located on 1st Avenue behind the Pants Store parking lot and all are welcome.

The Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce will hold their regular monthly luncheon this coming Thursday, October 15th at 11:45 a.m. at the Leeds First United Methodist Church Family Life Center. Our guest speaker will be Mr. Perry Macon with the 2010 Census Bureau. Reservations made by Tuesday, October 13th will be $10, with no reservations it will be $12 at the door. Tickets are now on sale for our fall dinner and dessert productions of Let's Murder Marsha. Performances are October 16, 17, 23, & 24 at 6:00 p.m. and October 18 & 25 at 2:00. Dinner tickets are $25 and Sunday Dessert Matinees are $20. Dinner menu includes pecan encrusted chicken or roasted beef with salad, creamed potatoes, green beans and dessert, served with coffee, tea and wine. Reservations are required and tickets must be pre-paid. Checks may be mailed to Leeds Arts Council, P.O. Box 684, Leeds, AL 35094. If you prefer to use a charge card for payment we will send an electronic invoice via PayPal. You may make reservations by calling 699-1892. Moon Rentals, Hayrides, activities and plenty of food will be provided. Tickets will be sold for $0.25 per ticket. Each activity will require a certain amount of tickets to participate. Please bring your entire family to enjoy a couple of hours of fun at the Leeds Elementary School on this day!
