 nday. A poetry reading is a performance of original works of poetry\, pres
 ented by the poet and given on our small stage. Poetry readings often invo
 lve several readers and occasionally have a theme. Though a form of entert
 ainment until around the turn of the previous century\, poetry readings ar
 e now identified with a literary fringe. We invite anyone interested to br
 ing their original works to share or simply enjoy listening to others. Fre
